no input option with DMXKing Micro USB

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

I'm using QLC+ with a DMXKing micro USB and the input doesn't show up as an input option. The specifications say its' bidirectional, so I assume both options should be there. I'm new to DMX, so I may be doing something wrong.

To be honest I've never used it as input.
You might try to force to "open RX" protocol via settings dialog, but I'm not sure if it will work

You have to alter your device to work as an input...

[edit] I'm not sure this works ... I did study the documentation, but couldn't find 'the switch' to change from output to input device[/edit]
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
