I have setup a Video Function in QLC+ (latest version) and I have video and sound working great. However I need to control the volume when playing each videos. I can not seem to find any information on doing this. I've read the docs and searched the site/forum, but can't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

At the moment this is not possible in QLC+
It is not an available API in the lower layers too (Qt)
I guess you need to find an alternative way to achieve that - e.g. change the OS master volume

That's super unfortunate for me. I just started using QLC+ and have everything working but this. We use Reaper for all our audio (mics, instruments, etc). It would be nice if I could route sound from QLC+ to Reaper via ReaStream, NDI or some other way. That way Reaper could control it all which is our preferred method.
Anyway, adding a volume control to videos in QLC+ sounds possible to me. I know QT supports all kinds of video functions. Also adding a simple pause would be useful for most everyone. Are there any plans to add any of this to QLC+ in the near future? This is the only thing missing for me in QLC+.

I checked the wrong class documentation. Setting volume is possible, but not in QLC+ 4. In QLC+ 5 yes.
Pausing is already there. Put the video in a chaser and play it with a cue list widget.
Keep in mind audio/video playback is not the primary scope of QLC+, so the support is very basic. So please don't expect too much out of it.
There are so many specialized softwares for that. Use them.

Thank you for your reply. I thought about QLC+5, but the download page said it was “ Experimental” so I stayed clear of it. I need stability more than video support.
QLC+4 does everything we need for lights at our non profit youth theatre. I’m using OSC to create kid friendly controls. Reaper and QLC+ work great together and the video controls in Reaper are outstanding. The only problem with Reaper & video is you can only target one monitor & I wanted to split our stage with 2 different video feeds on each side of the stage.
I have searched for a Windows video player that provides OSC support AND will play a different video on each monitor at the same time AND allows for sound output capture (for mixing in Reaper), but I can’t find anything.
While QLC+5 might play & pause video I still can’t feed the sound to Reaper. So for now I guess I’ll continue to use Reaper for sound & video.
