Q Light Controller+

Im super confused I bought DMXking eDMX1 ethernet. /Art-Net

I have it on the network with IP set up, but have no clue how to add it to the qlc5.

in untiverse 1 Ive tried to set Loopback 1 and on left side there is not option to select edmx1......

Im new to this so I would really appreciate your help on it. Im using linux.

Go to Inputs/Outputs tab.

On the left side, select Universe you want to use to output to eDMX. Don't use the Universe for anything else (like MIDI input).
Let's say it's Universe 1.

Let's say you use wired network, it's using addresses 192.168.15.0/24 (netmask 255.255.255.0). Your computer is 192.168.15.23,
eDMX is 192.168.15.74. This is just an example, you have to use actual addresses in your network.

On the right side, select ArtNet (or E1.31) with IP that belongs to the network eDMX is connected to (i.e. address of your computer,
in this case 192.168.15.23). Click settings (wrench and screwdriver icon). In the "Node tree" tab you should see your eDMX device.
In the "Universes Configuration" tab you can define mapping from QLC+ universe to artnet universe (for example, you can output
QLC+ universe 1 as ArtNet universe 16 if you need to).

That's it. Now you can test it by rising some sliders in the Simple Desk tab. Don't forget to release the sliders after your test is done.

Just to stipulate that Artnet 00:0:0 is Universe 1 on the eDMX

Thank you! I got it to work on v4 but for some reason I dont see simple desk in v5. Just a black screen. Do I need to somehow enable it?

Simple Desk in v5 is available with the next release

Massimo I understand that you work on the ql5 in your spare time and that you do not own us(qlc users) anything but could share with us if Qlc5 is still worked on and if there is any date for the possible update? I would really appreciate the response and thank you for all you work, as person working in IT I understand the amount of hours you have put in it.
