Default input device setting

Hi all,

My user case:
*Windows laptop for editing in qlc+
*RPi running qlc+ (Massimo image) which gets connected to wired network when uploading new/changed show. When performing show, Rpi runs without network connection, with usb-dmx interface and usb-midi interface connected.
When RPi gets connected to network, it's fysically in another place, where I would prefer not to leave the interfaces (dmx, midi) connected. With the Dmx interface, that is no problem. But when I connect the RPi to network, upload a show and choose apply changes without midi interface connected, the saved config results in the choice of Midi interface number 0 , instead of midi 1. So the main problem: when I upload a show without the midi interface connected and then apply changes. the wrong midi interface gets selected by default.
I hope my explination makes sens. I am now forced to leave the midi interface connected when uploading a new show. Is there any way I can avoid this?
