All, I am working on some new RGB scripts for matrix layouts .. PR'd this one today for those that are interested...

It lets you create different types of lines on the matrixes in the cardinal directions and with varying lengths. I also added a 'variability' to the length so we can induce randomness. If theres' interest in this kinda thing .. I'll expand it to add some colors and other features. Including some links with video:
