Speed dial for specific chaser fade in element time

Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

Hi

I would like to change the fade-in speed of a scene in a chaser, but only the time of 1 specific element.
How can this be done?
I have tried using the speed dial in the virtual console and assign it to fade-in time without effect.
The goal of this is to have the effect flash on the beat. In general, this would be nice to sync the start beat cue with every speed dial.

Thanks!

Not sure if this is what you're looking for.

I'm afraid that changing the fade time of only 1 step by a VC widget is not possible.

Yes it is to mimic a strobe. The flash time of white should remain constant while the "black or off time" should be regulated. Thus, the flashing frequency increases while the flash itself remains very short.

Fun ;-) With your question, I spend some time playing with the idea.
