ABILITY TO DISABLE A FIXTURE

(Ver. 4 question) Is there a way to disable a single light fixture? Not necessarily because something is wrong with it, but for that one band member that says that light is to bright, can you turn it off, but its programmed in with all the others, and its 15' in the air and you can't just unplug it. If not, it sure would be nice if you could go into the fixtures, right click on one and disable it.

Not that I know, but you always can override/"freeze" any DMX channel in the simple desk. That's what I do in such a situation, and it works well for me,
An explicit option to disable or "park" a fixture surely would be more logical and elegant, though.

Yes, there is a way (sort of)
In the fixture tab, select the fixture, go to the "Channel fade configuration" and set the channels you want to "allways off"

That will do the trick. Only minuspoint is, that you must be in design mode. In livemode the channel configuration button is grayed-out.
(of-course I would say)

Does this help you?

click - click - It surely will do its purpose ;-)
No one will notice the 'we are in the dark' mode

Well, yes during show its not feasable, but during sound/light check it can be used.

The simple desk method should work. Just never thought about it. Just tested it and it seems to do the trick. Not quit as clean as I'd like, since I have to go figure out the fixture address, but it works! Thanks y'all.
