Hello
Is it possible to run qlc with NO GUI mode?
Reading doc it possible on Raspberry PI version only. -n or -nogui from command line.
How to do it on Linux-Ubuntu? I need it to run on linux server where there is no gui installed.
I will edit my qlc scenes on GUI system but after that in production it has to be executed on no GUI server.

I guess before getting in to the gui/no-gui discussion, I don't know for sure if --nogui works on Linux that isn't a rPi. Would it be an option to install something like the Tight VNC server on the "production" system? It will provide the graphical context for QLC+ to use. If access needs to be controlled, you can disable remote access to the VNC server, otherwise you gain the ability to monitor/modify the configuration through the VNC connection.

I join this question; is it possible to run QLC as a service without xorg?
I think i can create a virtual raspberry with proxmox but i would like to avoid it...

Ok, tried and work but in short i think that qls+ desktop is necessary to set up devices and environment...
Massimo, which one do you recommend between xfce, lxde and mate?
Thanks

I think the default xfce would work just fine
