Save and Load from hidden directories (autostart.qxw)

Hello,
How can I load (and save) to hidden directories ? Specifically, "autostart.qxw"
I'm using the downloaded QLC+ .img and have nothing else loaded on a stand alone Raspberry Pi.
I'd like to be able to load autostart.qxw and save to it without having to use an external PC.
In other words, how I can I get hidden directories to show in the "Load/Save/Save As" dialogue boxes?
(P.S. It is OK at startup if nothing is changed or 'browsed', but if you change anything it is impossible to get back to the .qlcplus directory. That's what I'm really asking - how to get to load/save from hidden directories at anytime.)
Thank you. Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated.
Apart from this it works brilliantly ! Thank you !

I'm not sure I fully understand the question...
You can write the autostart file via web interface. See the documentation. Paragraph 5.1.4
Otherwise save the file wherever you want and then move it to hidden folders via SSH with the cp/mv command

Thank you.
I have worked out that autostart.qxw can be saved to hidden directories directly on the Pi, by RIGHT Clicking in the save dialog boxes.
RIGHT Clicking gives the options of Rename, Delete, SHOW HIDDEN Files, and New Folder.
Saving directly on the Pi does not work however. It saves a blank file.
Saving autostart.qxw by using the web-interface (Para 5.1.4) always works.
Operationally, I'm struggling to make sense of this however.
You can make edits directly on the Pi, but saving to autostart.qxw doesn't work on the Pi.
You must use the webinterface to save autostart.qxw - which is sort of a nusciance to have to set up a whole PC just to do the save.
Am I missing something here ?
(I get that when the Pi is powered down everything is lost, but autostart.qxw DOESN'T evaporate with the power off IF it is saved when done by the web-interface.)
Is there a way to save autostart.qxw directly on the Pi (and retained during power off) without having to use the web-interface (or SSH) ?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes: a Raspberry Pi is not a PC. Editing should be done on a PC and then projects loaded via web interface.
Also you're probably missing the "Save as" (instead of "Save") feature. Projects loaded via web interface are not a physical file. So plain "Save" could actually save an empty file. (I haven't checked though)

No

No worries. Thank you for the clarification. Much appreciated.
Editing on the Pi works fine and both the 'save' and 'save as' functions look like they work (but don't actually), which is why it is so tempting.
Our not-for-profit volunteer organistation has a largish lighting system and the Pi is sort of embedded, so it's a little bit of a hassle to have to disconnect the lighting system from the Pi, organise a PC, connect it to the lighting system, save and export to the Pi, then disconnect the lighting system from the PC, reconnect it to the Pi etc etc.
But no worries, I understand the limitations now.
I think QLC+ is great. Thank you.
