Trigger chaser with momentary VC button?

Sorry if someone asked this before, but I would like to be able to trigger a chaser with a momentary VC button. Currently using 4.11.2, which only allows momentary VC button on a scene.

Is there a way to do it with loopback?

I tried with loopback but unsuccessful - In my solution, you need to press the flash button again to reset the sequence / chaser... Even creating a input profile (set to 'generate an extra Press/Release when toggled') did not help.

Brilliant! Succes... using a submaster in a frame where the chaser resides.
Now the flash button goes thru loopback setting the submaster...

Have a look at the test project - it may not be perfect as it is - but hey I was also long looking for something like that.
* the submaster has to be set to 255 manually at the switch to operate mode
* the 'flash' chaser has to be enabled manually (so in a running condition)
* submaster has to be reset to 0 after the above steps, chaser keeps running but no output.
Using the flash button gives the submaster a value (enabling the chaser values)

(Now you will have to deal with HTP or LTP behaviour because I assume you want to overrule running functions.)

Thanks for the reply, but not what I'm looking for. Would be nice to have the scene, chaser, and sequence integrated as a single function, which could be triggered by momentary button. Maybe in version 5?

Hope you're staying safe and healthy!
