hello friends, I am programming two ROBE 1200 SPOT.
Using a cue list for calling a position from there, but i can't I use the xy pad to edit about what's on the cue list?

I'm having the same issue and I've to admit that it's a pain to program qlc+4 live, it's a software thought to prepare a show at home and not with performers on the stage.
Maybe someone else can help, as I understand it's not possible while the cue list is active and I've found 2 workarounds:
1. you must have an extra scene to turn on just the head intensity.
in the xy pad you move the blue circle on the position of the head from the active cue list, you turn on the extra intensity scene and you stop the cue list.
now you can move the head and when you're happy you dump it on the scene that you want to modify, be aware to dump only the position if for any reason the other parameters are different.
play the cue list and it will take back control over the xy pad, of course you've also to stop the extra intensity scene.
2. it's weird but I've found this behavior that works.
you must have already a preset scene in the the xy pad (or you can import a scene with the Virtual Live Edit - it's not necessary that it's the one you want to modify).
while you're in your cue list scene, you toggle on and off the scene preset in the xy pad, now you can move the head and again dump it to the scene.
if you want you can reload the scene in the cue list to take back the control, otherwise it will happen when you fade to the next cue.
this approach is faster but you'll have a jump when you take control with the xy pad, for some performers it can be distracting.

don't give up Louis, it's true that I've spent a lot of time to build up a Virtual Console that was fitting my needs for the rehearsals, after playing with it one week and refining the parameters I like the XY Pad, I become comfortable with it.
