hello im guille i am mobile dj and lightjokey.

i have only 8 par rgbw connected to dmx and really stucked on many things.
why there arent push buttons insted interruptors and pushers? are only interruptors . only pushers for scene? whi not chasers too?
red and blue frames can be really confusing thing
and BPMs ¿? will be a good idea, i have an android app bpm counter and works really fine for dj is ok but in qlc all values are in secs msecs bit dificult to translate to bpm value
there is a midi way to do this i know .

so im trying to do as many things as qlcs bring me with this 8 cans.

i ve do colour scenes whithin the intensity cannel so only color
in a chaser i put all the color scenes in rotate mode i adjust the velocity af the step and made a simple colorwheel

other way i made scenes with the first channels of the pars so it give me "movement" like fill unfill or kitts lights from fantastic car and put in other chasers thats ok¿?

i work with virtual dj and there is a plugin to communicate with qlc, i havent tested it yet.
do you think it will be better stay on this version of qlc 4.12.2?¿

when installing version 5 dont have the fixture editor.

i put a screen capture of my console so you can tell me what else to do.
i think if viewing more virtual consoles will open my mind to new ideas but there is not much about this.
the rgb matrix results are very poor and the colour options nothing clear.

in the first im trying to program in the chaser the same autofunctions that the lights came with.
next a vu-meter or something like that
another good idea will be use the sound trigger for this but i dont know how to do this at the moment.

do you think i am trying this with the correct software?

Hi Guille,
Buttons can act as a Flash Button, you can change it on button properties. There are two types of frames a normal Frame and Solo Frame, in a normal frame you can activate any widget, button, etc at same time. In a Solo Frame you can only activate one widget, button at a time (if you have a button active when you activates another button in a solo frame the first one is deactivated).
QLC+ 5 is in beta state is not ready for production use.
For examples, use cases you can search in the forum or in the Community section. viewforum.php?f=30
The online documentation is very useful to understand how QLC+ works. https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN/index.html
