Possible to fade/smooth ArtNet input for passthrough

Is it possible to fade / make the input more smooth while using the passthrough option to DMX USB? If so, how?
If the passthrough option can't be used for this how can I map the inputs directly to the DMX usb outputs to achieve the same "passthrough" effect while applying the mentioned smoothing?
