Midi In From Mainstage

Can I route Midi into QLC from Mainstage which is software that sends midi out? Do I need to create some kind of virtual MIDI bus? If so how?

Oh virtual console? I guess I'm struggling thinking of how to route the midi out of Mainstage into QLC

It will create a virtual midi device to which you can send commands from the other software.

In qlc set the virtual loopmidi device as input on one universe, set the proper midi mode and assign incoming midi commands to virtual console widget.

I have successfully used loopMIDI with Lightjams software, but with QCL+, I'm not seeing an input device for loopMIDI. What am I doing wrong?

Forgive my earlier post. I was looking for "loopMIDI" in the wrong column. So I have it selected as the input device, now how do I configure a Virtual Console button to process a given MIDI note. For example, my software is sending MIDI note 65 to loopMIDI. How do I tell QLC+ to activate the given function?
