Downloaded QLC 5.0.0 Alpha 3 2/5/2020

Windows 10 machine Desktop
3.5 ghz machine i5-6600K
16gb Memory
64bit OS

Critical Crash Issues

1. Removing Solo Frame with buttons - causing a total software crash

Not Working Items

1. Button Matrix Issue - When building a button matrix it's extremely easy to move the button from a solo frame and can't seem to find a way to get it back inside the frame.

2. Editing Button Properties - When editing button properties the foreground color will not accept black from white in the basic color palette. Have to select gray or any other color other than white then go to black.

3. Button Cloning - Can not use copy & paste with previously created buttons or frames.

You know it's still in alpha release? So there probably be more bugs than you documented.
Even the feature list is not complete...
I think it's best to wait for the beta releases and then debug

Having crashing issues and hangs here, even with just clicking new file. Where to find the log? Might be useful for a more clear image of what is going on. Beta 1.

Same for me on Gnome, the appimage it's not usable at all so I won't even try to report bugs. (beta?)
Hopefully the ones that have compiled it will have a better experience and they can contribute to the development.

I tested QLC+ 5 beta1 appimage compiled on Ubuntu 20.04 with Qt5.15.2 the last week. I reported to Massimo the issues I found on video playing and some solutions that I applied. See this thread on this forum. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=15225
I'll test this weekend other functionalities that I have not tested, create DMX functions, inputs and outputs with my devices (usb-dmx, ArtNet, midi controllers), etc.

Yesterday I've spent all night over it and no luck, basically impossible even to build up a virtual console.
I'm starting a production so I'll come back to it later.
Gracias Santiago, por nosotros!
