Creating a flexible theatre project file

I have an upcoming Theatre show where we will use QLC+ as our main hub of control. I will cue video in Resolume via Universe 4 outputting to a loopback address, these video cues will be trigger via a chaser which will also cue lighting scenes.

This is a musical production, and I will be initially lay out my looks in my previz software.

I will have to make all my final tweaks and adjustments during technical rehearsal. There is inevitably going to be a large amount of adjustments made on the fly at this stage.

I am looking for some advice on how to build my QLC+ showfile in such a way that the cues in my chaser can be easily adjusted without wasting too much time searching through functions. I know there's steps I can take in proper organization and labeling of fixtures and functions. Most cues will make use of much of the lighting, which will include several moving heads for top/back lighting, side wash, front wash & specials.

I've found it to be a bottleneck where QLC+ minimizes the tabs in the Function editor so that when too many are in a scene you can't see what they are labelled as.

Even better would be an example showfile so that I can study how someone has put this together for a theatre production.

If there is another thread that goes into this in detail, I'd love to check that out too.

Thanks
