Global limits for EFX

Hello.
I'm new to QLC+, and still studing it, so please forgive me if this question is dumb.
I understand how relative position works in EFX, but what about width/height limits?
What I mean is.... if I make for example six EFX for a stage 15x12, I need to set width/height limits so that lights will stay within the stage, that's ok.
But what happen when I'll be using a little stage, let's say 8x6? Do I need to change all width/height limits in all EFXs? Or is there a place where to set a "global" limit so that all EFXs will take it in account?

Also, what about scenes? Suppose I have a few scanners on the top/back of the stage. To reach the front of a 8x6 stage I need to tilt them for example by 30°. But if the stage is bigger, to reach the front of the stage I need to tilt them for example by 45°. So, how to do it? Do I need to change all scenes manually or is there any global parameter to do it?

How do you guys do it?

Thank you.
Roberto

Have a look at the X/Y pad of the VC

I already looked at it, but if I activate a EFX I see it moving outside the boundaries I have set on the pad.
What I'm missing?

Thank you.

width and height of the EFX's I set through a loopback channel and 2 faders. (So this is more or less global)
chasers with positions is a problem because you cannot use the trick with loopback's but if you have a pool of static positions (and use these inside you chasers), you only have to change their value if you change venue...

I mostly use a matrix of stage positions, border positions, top positions and like circles, halve arches, piramides and criss cross positions. Setting these makes your project adopted to the new venue you are in. The rest of all the chasers use this pool of positions inside it. So going from halve arche to top to public and to criss cross is handled by these base positions - on every occasion...

Hope this helped

Thank you very much for your hints.
Going to investigate what a loopback channel is :)
