Right way for the show

Hello everyone
I've been using QLC + for a month now and I think it's great software!
I need advice on the best configuration for my needs.
I play in a band and this year we would like to work with backing track with synchronized lights.
I'm working on a project on Cubase where we will have the metronome to go to time and send midi signals to QLC + (currently I only did a test with loopMIDI sending the start to a chaser.
My current configuration is as follows:
- 2 Stairville TriLed
- 4 mini wash
- 4 mini beam
In QLC I have divided these lights into: led-L, led-R, wash-L1, wash-L2, wash-R2, wash-R1, beam-L1, beam-L2, beam-R2, beam-R1.
Later I created small scenes, for example:
w-L1-white (where I only turned on the white channel)
w-L1-blue (where I only turned on the blue channel)
w-L1-top (in which I placed the wash in upward position)
w-L1-strobe
So for all the lights
At this point I started creating collections
And finally a chaser for each song with the sequence of the collections to which they are assigned durations in ms obtained from the bpm of the song
At the end Cubase should send the midi signal to start chaser 1 for song 1, chaser 2 for song 2 and so on
Can it be the right way to create the light show?
Thanks in advance!!
