Q Light Controller+

So in my show file I use 2 Stairville Outdoor Stage Par 12 x 4W Quad fixtures and they are not really what I am looking for. So I bought 2 Eurolite CBB-2 fixtures instead and now I am wondering what the best way is to replace the Stairville fixtures without messing up my whole project.

From what I read is the remapping function a good approach but normally not a permanent one, right? I could also place the new Eurolite fixtures at the end (latest channels) and work my way through al scenes etc. But I think that will take a long time.

Of course, if that’s the way to go I will do that, but any help to speed up this process would be great.

Remapping is the way we walk... and after swaping fixtures your project is the new one...
If you want to keep your current show you could consider having a virtual universe (with your current fixtures) and then do a remap to a true DMX universe...

Ok, that last part about a virtual universe is too much for me at this point, lol. But I managed to replace the fixtures and all looks fine.
