Enttec Open DMX USB Interface not 'working' on 4.12.2

Hi,
I have used the Enttec Open DMX USB Interface on 4.12.1 many times without any issues. When I try to use it after upgrading to 4.12.2 the fixtures do not repond when I start/open my show. So no DMX address appears on the fixture. Reversing to 4.12.1 solves the problem.
I use MacOS 10.13.6 and I'd like to help what is going on if you point me in the right direction.
Best regards,
Gerard

I've just tested it on my Windows 10 x64 laptop, and the Enttec Open DMX is recognized.
I'll check it on my MAC later.

It doesn't work on my MAC High Sierra. It sees the Enttec Open DMX, and allows me to create fixtures, but the fixtures don't turn on.

I am having much the same issue but with an Enttec USB Pro Mk2.
See the attached screen shots.
There is no option to select an output in 4.12.2

Dear Massimo,
Do you perhaps own a Open DMX USB Interface and would you be able to test it on 4.12.2?
Best regards,
Gerard

I don't have the original Enttec product. I have a clone.
I have tested it with the latest
test version and it works for me at 40Hz on macOS 10.14.5.
Please try again, I changed a library bundled in the dmg.

Just tested QLC+_4.12.3-TEST-20191005 and the same problem persists for the Enttec DMX USB PRO Mk2.

Today I have done some testing and here’s what I found out.
Enttec Open DMX USB interface on MacOS High Sierra, 10.13.6 and Q Light Controller Plus 4.12.1 works fine.
Enttec Open DMX USB interface on MacOS High Sierra, 10.13.6 and Q Light Controller Plus 4.12.2 does not work.
Enttec Open DMX USB interface on MacOS High Sierra, 10.13.6 and Q Light Controller Plus 4.12.3-TEST-20191005 works fine. So you fix does the trick.
Now the strange this is that the Enttec Open DMX USB interface on MacOS Mojave, 10.14.6 works fine on both 4.12.1 ánd 4.12.2. But I am not sure if that is of any help. For now, during live performances, I will stick on 4.12.1 because that computer runs MacOS High Sierra, 10.13.6.
Hope this helps and thank you!

That is clearly showing QLC+ is using "Open Tx" instead of "Pro Mk2" protocol. No idea why, but you can fix it on your own by forcing the protocol to use.

Hi Massimo,
Thanks for the that. I feel a bit of an idiot really and should have read the manual.
I wasn't aware of the drop-down menu. When you first click the 'configure the selected plugin' button, on MacOS at least, the window that opens only shows the name.
It wasn't until I was trying to follow your instructions that I realised I could resize the window and the extra options appeared. I must admit I had wondered, when I had read in the forums, where people were adjusting the output frequency. Now I know.
Thanks again.
Cheers
Mark
