Hello, I'm Chris from Italy..
I'm here because i have a problem and i have no idea how to resolve..
This is my setup:
macbook pro with mojave osx
eurolite usb-dmx512 (mod.51860118)
drivers ftdi installed
some dmx light connected
Well.. drivers are working on my mac (qlc find it on setup) but my lights still lamping dmx address (it means that is not receiving any dmx signal from pc).
I have added the right fixture (for ex. robe spot160xt) but not happend when i move sliders on console.
My question is how is the next step.. btw.. what can i do to send signal from adapter to lights.. i think is not hardware problem but a setup missing or wrong of my console..
Thanks so much!!!

Basic setup questions:
Are your fixtures addressed? Do they have a DMX addres?
Did you configure an output universe in QLC+?
If you use simple mode in QLC+ with the right DMX channel - does your fixture do anything?
A simple search in this forum revealed that with your Eurolite you have to alter the base frequency -

Yes!
Robe is set to Channel A0001
Universe1 is set out with the USB-DMX cable
And the simple mode.. does nothing..no one sliders move the Robe
Yes i have read the post and tried that also if is another adapter (to try that too).
It's a bit strange..i have tried with another pc (win based) and for a while it worked.. when i connected the adapter but no other.
In that case the channel on Robe was not blinking (so the signal came from pc) but no one movementwas avaiable...
I'm going to try another setting on pc and after i will try on mac too..
Thanks for now..

Can you get hold of a very basic 3 channel fixture of some kind?
With movers (and their shutter / dimmer settings) you mostly need more than one channel active before something goes
Although pan and tilt should always work ... very strange
What you mean with 'when i connected the adapter but no other'?
Is your ROBE RDM enabled? Disable this - it is waiting special instructions to remotely set it's address and stuf...
(therefore try with a simple dimmer or so...)
Break a leg

Today there is a little step beyond..
When i connect to pc-win now everything work (i don't know why) and if i use the simple mode, the Robe seems to responde well.
But if i do the same with Macbook, nothing happend. The adapter is recognized (A0001 is not blinking), the Robe move in stand-by position but nothing happend in simple mode.
Well.. for now i will go on by pc-win (i must connect now a Behringer BCF2000 and Microkontrol...i see it hard :/ ) and after do that i will back on mac

So basically a Mac driver problem then?
When is production time? Hours? days? weeks?
A) you stick with a working PC environment (and add complexity to that adding more hardware)
B) you try Mac again and troubleshoot the vast more complexity of adding more hardware... SRY Mac
PC does work (!) -> watch these 8 dull minutes of me going from scratch 13h30 to production 20h30

I'm in the position to throw buck$ at it now and I'm a vast believer in very powerful i7 NUC's

[edit]foto too big to upload
it was a BFC2000 (levels and artnet send and receive feedback through Lightjams = audio processing) & a Novation Launchpad PRO (mainly for colors)
