Manual Step Button for Multiple Functions

I have searched the forum and documentation and are looking for a simple feature:

The main reason is when multiple sequences and chases are running at the same time.
(The duration widget is great and I'm able to send "duration (hold)" to a chase or sequence stop it and the ability to control fade with a separate duration widget.)

All I need is a simple "Manual Step" button.
When pressed it overrides the duration/hold to infinite and manually proceeds to next step in functions (chase or sequence) added to button.

The normal input tab in the buttons widget properties will then make the button available for use with any input and steps can be synchronised with any supported external application or device.

All of this should be very basic as all is needed is the actual command that prompts the next step in added functions to the button.

PLEASE NOTE: Cue lists is not the solution here, the duration widget can work for multiple functions a so should the step button in the Virtual Consol.
