Deleting step of a sequence deletes all copies in other sequences

Steps to reproduce:

1. create new workbench
2. add fixture. i tested with rgb panel (using default values)
3. go to functions
4. add "new rgb matrix"
5. select previously created fixture group ("rgb panel")
6. derive sequence from it (sequence button between time button and fixture group selector)
7. select the created sequence in the tree on the left, rename it to "source" (for clearity)
8. right click the "source" sequence click it, choose "copy"
9. rename the copy to "target"
8. select all steps from the target "sequence" and hit the "cut" button above the steps list. you will gain an empty sequence

These steps i did to create an empty sequence, that I wanted to fill with selected steps from other sequences. Fine until now.

9. select the "source" sequence, again
10. select all steps and cut them
11. select the "target" sequence and paste the steps - the steps have now been moved from one sequence to another. Fine until now.
12. the "source" scene is empty now. delete it.

expected result:
"source" sequence should be deleted. "target" sequence schould remain untouched, containing the transferred steps.

actual result:
"source sequence is deleted". all steps from "target" sequence are gone, leaving it empty.

So my question is: how can I create sequences, pick interesting steps from it, move them to a sequence-to-be-build and then drop the helper sequences?
