Total reset of LPT channels ? How?

In the QLC+ Video Tutorial #7 - Positions and EFX, Massimo has created a total reset (momentairy ) button.
You can see, that the pan and tilt of the fixtures are indeed resetted to theyre zero point.
But first -of course- he stops all active functions.
How did he do that?
If i stop all functions the LPT channels stay as they are. (Ok)
If I create a button with all the LPT channels at zero, during clicking the channels go zero.
However, after releasing the button, the LPT channels return to theyre value before. But no function is active…..
If I understand the LPT rule correctly, the latest value should be zero after this exercise?
What do I miss????
Thanks for your help
Paul.
