Hi,
I often have a setup where I have movers in pairs. For example one on stage left and one on stage right. I'm trying to come up with an easy way to have the 2 movers in one XY pad and then switch if they do panning synchronized together or if they mirror each other (i.e. have one set to normal and one set to inverted pan).
Is there anyway to do this with a button or something you can quickly toggle on/off while in live running mode?
I tried making 2 different XY pads with the same movers in each and have one pad set with both normal and then the other pad set with one mover's pan inverted. But this doesn't work. It looks like you can't have the same movers in more than one XY pad - if you do, the first pad you created stops working at all (and won't work again) once you use the 2nd pad.
Anyone have any ideas for how to do this?
Thanks
Switch pan back and forth from mirrored to regular on xy pad

inversed pan: check your fixture ... most of them have a setting for that.
use channel modifiers: you can inverse the values for the one who is acting inversed.
You can have 2 or more XY pads ... but in relative mode (speaking of which ... are you sure the movers are configured to behave in LTP mode?)
Are you asking to have a button to swap pan on the spot? An EFX phase setting of 180° does the same?

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
