Q Light Controller+

I have been using QLC version 10 for quite some time and it has been great. I updated to version 12 and now my lights flash on and off. Not flicker. Went back to version 10 and all is well.
Interface is DIY FSR 232R DMX USB. The interface shows in 12 but lights change and blink.

...as if there weren't enough posts discussing this.
