Good afternoon,

is there a way to use multiple usb midi devices?

I currently have a Korg NanoPad 2 and would like to add a Korg NanoKontrol 2 as well.

I am using an Enttec Pro Mk2 as a device on a laptop running Windows 10 on QLC+ version 4.12.1

Will they control the same universe in this way though? Sorry, I am new to midi controllers

Yes, it will control the same universe, thats the thing I personally did not understand at the beginning.

Image

Universe 1 is renamed to "DMX-ArtNet"
Universe 2 is renamed to "MID-APC Mini"
Universe 3 is renamed to "LaunchKey Mini" (not shown in the screenshot because it was not connected while I take the screenshot)

All light-units are loaded and configured (if this is the right way to describe it) in "Universe 1".

If you choose now an external input to start something or whatelse, you can choose from the inputs of both Universes ...

kind regards
Roger

Every time I open the app I have go back into the input/output section and toggle the INPUT tabs in each universe, and the FEEDBACK selection shows highlighted for both units in both universes. It is very frustrating. And each time I come back in, the MIDI channels are messed up. How do you keep it stable? NOTE: I am not disconnecting the USB in between, everything is staying exactly the same.

So while they are in different universes, that Feedback bug (macOS if it matters) means I press the button on one nanoKONTROL2 and the light comes on for the other one, even though if I press that button it isn't controlling the function. How to set the feedback to only one of the units (the right one :) )
