Resize collapsed frames.

Hi.
i am trying to put together a system with a half a dozen rgb lights, a couple of moving heads and a raspberry pi.
i am trying to use a 7 inch android tablet for webaccess, and it all seem to be going rather well. Thank you Massimo for this wonderful bit of software.
It really does make our manual controller look like a primitive pile of sticks and rocks!
i am having a small problem i cant seem to find an answer for.
I am using frames to hide away a few cue lists for sound triggers and other such nuts and bolts.
The problem is that the open close button on the frame is tiny and hard to tap on a touchscreen. i am now looking for a way to make the interface appear larger.
I have tried editing the frame size in settings but that only affects the frame size when opened.
I tried resizing the frame when closed down, but it seems to revert to default when opened and closed, or when the project is saved.
These attempts wouldn't have helped me anyway since the size of the open/close button didn't seem to be affected.
next i tried setting the virtual console to a smaller width in the hopes that the browser would auto size to fit. As i reduce the width of the console the zoom level increases, but at about 1000 pixels wide the console just adds empty space to the right hand side of the page and keeps the zoom level constant.
is there a way to scale the widgets up by say 200%?
or is it possible to get the browser to scale to fit?
or is it even possible to link the open close function of the frame to another separate button I could simply place over the existing one?
really hoping someone can jump in and tell me there is something i have missed.
thanks in advance.
brad
Edit: it seems i am having trouble with fonts and sizes too. I have added some nice big buttons for efx, and labelled them in nice big readable text, but when i upload the project to the pi, the text on the button is back to size 8 or whatever it defaults to. Is there something wrong with my setup or is it just me? Both rpi image and desktop application are v4.12
