Hello LJ's

I have a lamp with this channel definitions:

CH1: 0-8 OFF
9-134 Master Dimmer
135-239 Strobe
240-255 Connect CH2\CH3\CH4\CH5 to controll RGBW manual
CH2: 0-255 Red dimmer
CH3: 0-255 Green dimmer
CH4: 0-255 Blue dimmer
CH5: 0-255 White dimmer
CH6:
0-2 Channel 1-5 is valid
3-31 Auto 1
32-63 Auto 2
64-79 Auto 3
80-95 Auto 3
96-111 Auto 5
112-143 Auto 6
144-159 Auto 7
160-175 Auto 8
176-191 Auto 9
192-207 Auto 10
208-223 Auto 11
224-239 Sound 1
240-249 Sound 2
250-255 Sound 3

How to handle the first channel with aliases ?
It would be nice if you make a fixture definition example....

Thank you for your support.

Have you checked the documentation ?
https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... ml#aliases

There are several fixtures in the library with aliases
American_DJ/American-DJ-WiFly-PAR-QA5.qxf
Briteq/Briteq-LDP-Powerbar-12TC.qxf
Chauvet/Chauvet-SlimPAR-Q6-USB.qxf
Litecraft/Litecraft-OutLED-AT60.zoom.qxf
Showtec/Showtec-Compact-Par-7-Tri.qxf
Showtec/Showtec-QFX-Multi.qxf

Thanks for your reply,

but yes i checked the documentation, but i really dont understand how to use this for my case.
Also i added a fixture with aliases ( Chauvet/Chauvet-SlimPAR-Q6-USB.qxf ) and tried to
understand how it works and use for my fixture.I saw the definition difference
But in VC i dont see any difference in handling.
Especially this in your doc
"... QLC+ will then know what to do when the DMX value of channel 5 enters or exits the alias."
is not clear . What is QLC doing? I dont see any difference.

Maybe i have complete different imagination what is a alias in QLC. I thought i can split one channel with 3 functions
in 1 channel and 2 virtual channels ... and handle the 2 additional channels like from the manufacturer...
(is this a new idea or is it already implemented with aliases ;-) )

Btw: This is why i used 3 sliders with different ranges for one channel and a master slider ...what runs straight
to this problem viewtopic.php?f=33&t=13097 and it is not fixed in latest release.

(PS: after i wrote that is not fixed, i saw the update popup in taskbar, seems it is working properly again)

...but many many thanks for this fabulous software i really love it

Thanks
