Hi guys,

i have seriosly trouble with automation on QLC plus. I love this SW a lot, u use it for years and i love how great job you did it.

But i m facing new project now with huge automation request, and i stuck on basic que problems.

Maybe i m missing something basic and you can only help me to resolve but, i describe my situation:

I use Ableton Live for triggering whole show (audio/video/bla bla) and lights too (so i want this, but cant handle it). My midi loopback via IAC works fine.

But you may imagine that ableton live have "parts" in song like intro(1), ...some middle parts (2), ending (3).. and so on. And in LIVE enviroment we need somethimes "jump back" so pattern like 1 2 2 3 or somethimes 1 2 3 4 2 3 4 ... so in live apps like ableton you can repeat same part how many times you need.

And here starts my troubles:

How i triger same (sequence? scene? collection?) and start it over again and again? and again? and again? Because button have ON/OFF behavior : every new triger switch my scene to off.

But i need something like Toggle ON (on buttons) or Start-Over (on cues). Cue standard behavior is if i trigger playback externaly cue start, and very next trigger stops the cue.

MAybe cue need to some little change to cas PLAY trigger hit with one Midi note and STOP hit with another midi note.

I try some fun with playback options "when cue is inactive" but problem is that my cue is active when i need start it over. So i decide use "nect" triger, but if cue is on ned and i hit next cue stop - dont start from begining... and this is unwnated for me.

What if you prepare your patterns in QLC+
and have ableton to trigger the patterns active?
(so every gimmick in QLC+ is a midi note and in ableton you make your chasers and shows... as long as midi note is active in ableton; the corresponding gimmick is active)
If you want to repeat 1 2 3 4 2 3 4 have ableton to send out the corresponding notes?
