RGB matrix pattern development

Hello,
please, is there a way to get the start color and end color of RGB matrix while development the RGB matrix pattern script?
I want to develop a bicolor patterns, for example pattern where color one is for example plain blue (#0000FF) as a background and second color for a foreground - for example complementary yellow (#FFFF00). I've tried id by a collection of 2 RGB matrix, first is plain blue pattern and second contains pattern. I've achieved some kind of mixing, but not exactly the colors I have looked because of the mixing... Is there another way around?
