Hello,
I was looking for a simple solution to turn on an of my outdoor lightning + having the ability to use a dimmer for it via wifi. i used martin m-pc but the electricity costs to run a computer 24/7 are just too high so i bought a raspberry, donated for the software and was wondering if I could set up my dimmer but i cant the way i need it.
I would like to have different knobs in the virtual console which i can press on my smartphone + a Dimmer fader to set the speed, dimming from 0 to the value selected before, maybe with a sinus curve? The first part should control both dimmers, than individually for the case I only need one. Is it possible to set the speed also via tap in addition to the fader?
Intensity All
[OFF] [30%] [70%] [100%]
Dimmer Curve Speed
0 --- 100% + TAP
Intensity Dimmer 1
[OFF] [30%] [70%] [100%]
Dimmer Curve Speed
0 --- 100% + TAP
Intensity Dimmer 2
OFF] [30%] [70%] [100%]
Dimmer Curve Speed
0 --- 100% + TAP
Since I spent more than 2 hours not beeing able to find out how it works even though i watched some tutorials on youtube I was wondering if anyone could help me here? Dimmers are on Universe 1 with channel 1 and 2
Thanks,
Felix

Not by using your mobile phone ... there is no 'tap' feature in the web interface...
In the VC you can assign a speed-control to set the fade-in time - I'm not sure that covers your question...
(And running a GUI on Raspi isn't exactly what it 's made for.)
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
