I am just asking if in ver.5 in the 3D viewer would it have a way to put in rgb matrix’s?
I don’t think any other 3d software has this but a way to put in tv or projector screens to show the video content from qlc and outsource media servers as a video in source.
And last in the 3d viewer would qlc recognize the location of fixture to real world location, explained meaning if you have a wall with a matrix on the wall an then a line of moving heads and it’s scrolling colors the moving head would react to the color on the matrix

Do you mean
* the output of a RGB-matrix? This is already done i think - it's only (hum hum) a bunch of lights
* 'rendered' video content inside your settings? Pfieuw (!)
imagine a 4K video source to be rerendered into a 80x80 px preview screen -> this needs massive processing power to do this 'on the spot'

In the alapha 3 you still can’t drop a rgb matrix into the 3d viewer
Then the video I am talking about actual video preview not video to rgb panel so if your using the 3d to program a show that has video you can see that while programming the lights

Please be patient. Everything will go into place. Just give me some time.
Videos and RGB panels (campaign goal #2) are in the list.

Like I said in the original post I was just asking in the to do list if those features would be there, I am not pressuring or anything. But since you did mention video would be in the 3d look at this for external video input from a media server because resolume 6 just introduced it for a video out option NewTek NDI. And or output from qlc for video.
