What's going on behind the scenes on something like this?

I'm curious to know what has to be done on the scene/chaser side of things to properly set it up so these controls work. As a simple example, let's say we're looking at the first fixture in the upper left corner.
Let me know if I get anything wrong:
- The dimmer would naturally be a level control tied to a single scene that only controls the dimmer.
- For pan, another scene with only pan control.
- For tilt, the same.
- If I want to flash Blue from the top line of buttons, I would have a 'Blue' scene with only that setting, correct?
- For the gobo, the same as flashing a color.
Am I right in identifying that each of these fixtures is going to have a huge number of functions to reference?
