Ask a generic question about the usage of QLC+, not related to a particular operating system

hello all,

I bought an AmericanDJ "Astroid 1200" and the special thing about this effect: it has unlimited pan and tilt movement !!
It also have 64 DMX channels.....

Someone was kind/brave enough to create a fixture file for QLC+ , but now I wonder if there are more people with this awesome light effect ??
And if those people like to share some nice scenes to use in QLC+ ?!

What I have done so far doesn't really work like I hoped it would work....

For the 12 RGBW LED lights I made an RGB matrix (rainbow gradient) and turned that into a scene , so far so good, but when I use that it has a conflict with the pan/tilt movement. The pan/tilt sliders also follow the RGB matrix pattern, in fact all the 64 DMX sliders are following the RGB matrix. And that's of course not working how it should be.

So again, how do other Astroid 1200 users do that ?

I know I should upload my qxw file, but I'm a bit ashamed about it..... it's one big mess right now, as I'm trying to create a new virtual console but that's not working at all right now. (see my other topic)
I don't want to end up in the hall of shame with my file

Anyway, it's this fixture: https://youtu.be/pgsSgirb2oo (no I don't have any connection to Adj , this is not an advertisement/spam)

Hi, the fixture definition has been written and it's online.
You need to use one of the test versions to find it included.

Thank you for your time !

But I already have found the Asteroid fixture file in QLC 4.11.2 .
Or is the file in the link a better version ?
Or even better, does the new QLC 5 version has this light in the 3D visualizer ?! (because I have the Asteroid now in my living room, to see what I'm doing hahaha)

The 'problem' I had was the RGB matrix scene affecting all sliders (as seen in simple desk) so also the pan/tilt and sliders that control the internal programs are happily moving up and down along the RGB matrix.

By the way, I'm sure that I am the problem, not QLC !!

And yes I have also watched the tutorial about RGB matrix , but I think I have to check or "un-check" something/somewhere to exclude all other sliders except the 12 LED sliders/faders.
Let just wait some days/weeks and see if there are any other forum member(s) who own a Asteroid 1200 , and willing to share some information.

Greets from the Netherlands !
