How to fade a fixture with multiple colour definitions without colour cycling

Dear Forum,
I've got a specific issue with fixture control that is really bugging me and I can't find a neat solution. I am hoping someone out there has experience of doing this...

I have two Chauvet Beamer 6FX units. These are a multi-function light with 6x RGBW (not LED) spot heads, a strobe and a RG laser. The six heads each have their own colour fader (H1-H6). The value of the fader is split between Red (0-100% - DMX0-65), Green, Blue and finally white. There is also a generic intensity slider.

I am trying to find a way to use create a Virtual Console control with a generic Fade control where, if I am on Green say, it doesn't fade through Red to off. I have played around with LTP/HTP, can/can't fade and a bunch of ideas with chasers but the only way I can see to do it is messy and cumbersome.

I can use the generic fader but this has to be defined for each function - i.e I'd have to do this for Red (65-0), Green (127-66), etc.

Anyone got any ideas?

Checked the manual and in 15ch mode:
(Too bad they have chosen these DMX parameters.)
If you want to fade from one colour to another without going to other colors - you have to fade ch7 to 0 before choosing another colour.
There is a but here ... if you want to change colour of head 3 f.i. - all heads will be dimmed ...

Thanks for responding GGGss - I see you do that a lot :)

So, I guess I'll need a Red ON (with Ch 7 fading from 0 to 100%) and then a Red OFF (reversing the fade on the intensity. Then another group of buttons for Green, for blue and finally white. Pretty cumbersome but I guess it may be the only way. I will then put all these in a solo frame so only one scene can be active at any one time.

I realise I will need to do this for all the heads that are lit - which could lead to a quite a number of scenes if I want to do this for the 6 individual heads (across 4 colours).

Oh well!

Keep in mind that dimming ch 7 involves ALL heads. (See it as a master dimmer aka grandmaster)
