Screen Realestate

I have noticed that QLC+ seems to take up most of my screen with buttons and window bars etc.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) and I usually have the screen set at 1280 by 800.
Attached are some screen shots.

What is exactly the problem ?
1280x800 is nowadays a pretty low resolution. Also 13" is quite small.
QLC+ 5 try to resize UI elements to have buttons with the size of a finger (in case the display has a touchscreen too)

Hi Massimo,
Thank you for taking the time to consider my posts.
I guess the problem is that when using a small screen (and as you say 13" is small these days but it is great for running shows when space is at a premium) the QLC+ 5.0 interface takes up a lot of room. It would be nice be to able to adjust the interface to suit the usage. If you use a small screen with high resolution (like mine) that isn't touch screen then small type and buttons read well and don't get in the way and easily used with a mouse. It means more space for the fantastic 3D lighting previews!
I did try adjusting the resolution on my mac to 1680 by 1050 but QLC+ 5.0 seems to adjust to the screen size not the resolution. See attachment.
However, when I did the same test with QLC+ 4, then it adjusts accordingly. (see screen shots of simple desk).
Do you plan to port QLC+ to tablets like iPads? They have quite high resolution small screens but objects can be much smaller than fingers and still be selectable. I don't envy your work to keep all these devices (and people) happy.
Thanks again for your work. It is much appreciated.
Cheers
Mark

Please let me correct myself: 13" is a small display to do QLC+ project editing. It is OK though for a Virtual Console.
Anyway, since a single variable (screenDensity) adjusts the whole QLC+ 5 UI, I will expose it somehow so it can be adjusted.

Thanks Massimo,
I agree that project editing is difficult on a small screen. I sometimes use 'duet' to use my iPad as a second screen when space is a problem and I have no alternatives otherwise a second bigger screen is much better.
It would be great to have access to the 'screenDensity' variable. Hopefully it isn't too hard to implement.
Cheers
