Strange waveform display

I'm using 4.11.2 on Windows 10 Pro x64.

I have a track which has one thing on the left channel, and something else on the right channel. When I try to display the waveform, the only thing displayed is the left channel. Even when displaying both tracks, both channels, both right and left display the left channel wave.

In hopes of giving a clearer picture of the problem, the first image is the wav file view from Audacity.

The second image is what the same file looks like in the show manager. As you can see, the left channel is displayed on both tracks.

I tried to upload a wav file, but I got a message that it was an invalid file extension, so I converted it to an mp3.

I did just test the file I attached, and it reacts the same way.

Massimo,

I have tried an MP3 on MACos Mojave and Windows 10 with 4.12.0 but I see no wave at all. It is no big deal at all but was this part of the bug as well?

Best regards,

Gerard
