Use of OLA for RDM: fixture replacement

Hi all,
I'm trying to replace faulty iGuzzini Linealuce fixtures driven by several eDMX 4 PRO DIN nodes. During cue playback, the nodes are only converting an ArtNet stream (e.g. coming from QLC+) to the 16 DMX512 output universes. Up to now the fixtures were already configured but I assume replacing faulty ones requires configuring them via RDM first, at least by changing their DMX address (something else?).
I discovered from the following thread that QLC on Linux can't help but OLA can. http://www.qlcplus.org/forum/viewtopic. ... 33&p=50940
However I'm getting a bit lost in the fluffy doc of OLA and would need help to get started.
Could you help with the main steps to achieve that goal?
Is there any risk of incompatibility of controllers or software with these fixtures? https://www.iguzzini.com/linealuce-mini ... dali-dmx/
Should I isolate the fixture in order to configure it or can I physically plug it within the rest of the universe first?
Many thanks in advance
