VirtualDJ recently announced OS2L implementation (Open Sound to Light Protocol) which allows interaction with a DMX software.
Any chance to add this feature to QLC+
Thanks

It's in my plans, but I am prioritizing other things, since a solution to communicate from VDJ to QLC+ is available RIGHT NOW.
I can't find an explanation why the fashion these days is reinventing the wheel for every single thing. ArtNet and OSC exist since ages, but still, a new protocol was needed.
My biggest concern is dragging Apple code in QLC+. Considered the tendency of Apple is closing things, this is not encouraging for an open source software.
Plus, there's a cross platform concern.
In other words: it's a big effort I'm not sure I am willing to take right now when there are more important things for me to finish (e.g. QLC+ 5)

VDJArtnet, i think it will never goes as native plugin in VDJ because OS2L is now included with more possibilities.
So many other DMX Software goes OS2L and the possibilities to run with pois in a track is really cool feature to have extra lighting to music in combination with midi beat.
Give it a chance with best lighting software
The look over the last two years in Internet and at friendly DJs...shows that many people like and use QLC+.
regards, Ralf
