Hi,

Here I have two profiles for the Martin Mac-401.

This fixture can have an RGB head or a White head attached on either side to the fixture. This makes, making a profile complicated as the fixture could have just an RGB head or just a White head or one of each or both the same. Then when you add to the fact that the RGB head can have 16 modes and the white one 8 modes, that compounds it.

I have taken the approach that is taken in the software "Capture ", and made two separate profiles one for the RGB and one for the white. This works as which ever head is installed on the back of the unit ignores the channels it is not using, this means that the channels always line up.

In making the profile for the White head there are a number of dummy channels that are used in some modes. This was flagged by the validation check but is the only way to get it to work. If this is an issue please correct it in any way you see fit.

Here is a link to the manual https://www.christielites.com/file_uplo ... Manual.pdf

Tell me about it. When I first looked at making a profile for the fixture I realised that with all the modes and head combinations that there would be 448 different modes. This put me off making one.

When I saw that in Capture they had two fixtures, that made a lot more sense.

Thanks for making these it has been quite handy. I ran into one issue with the ctc channels defined as intensity channels though. When the grandmaster is used it can cause large color temperature shifts. Redefining them as color group channels solved that problem. Maybe effect group would have been more technically correct though? In either case it's been working great since making that one change.

Thanks Janzert,

Makes sense to me. I haven't used the CTC channels so had not come across this problem, so thanks for fixing it.
