Transision of moving heads from pattern to one point?

Hello,

I'm somewhat new to working with moving heads.
I think my question is simple....
I have a bit where 4 heads are sweeping randomly. On cue, the movement should slowly make them all converge on a singel point, over about 30 seconds time.
So a slow transisition from a EFX to a certain function.
I when i try it, it switches immediately, not smoothly.

Tough one because:
* You cannot set movement speed of the heads (the one furtherst will come latest)
* you have to 'fade-out' an EFX which an-sich hasn't have this possibility.

I'm aware of what you are trying to do.
See annex
So a chaser with in step 2 duration set to ý (oo) infinity
then a manual 'go' to step 3

Verify using simple desk
You'll notice that an fade out for EFX is no good.

How I would solve this?
in step 3 I would gradually go to the end position (change the 'center position' of the EFX slowly through feedback channels)
and while doing this I'd make the EFX window smaller and smaller through feedback channels. (Width & height fade out to '0' relative gives you an almost fixed point while EFX is still running)

If you want this movement to be very slow and extremely smooth - you'll need some 'advanced' heads. The way heads 'jump' from one position to another depends on the quality of the steppers and in general I didn't have seen much moving heads doing smooth small steps (expect the very expensive ones)

Good luck ;-)
