Hello everyone,

for my generic fixture (LED Dimmer with 15 channels / just white) I created a strobe effect by simply adding a sequence with one step (all 15 faders at 255).
I also managed to connect die Speed Dial to the strobe effect so I can control the frequency and therefore the speed of the strobe, for example:

1x -> 400ms
1/2x -> 200ms
1/4x -> 100ms
...and so on.

This works great so far but I want to have a strobe that just lights up every 4s for like 40ms. This doesn't work though.
When I tab the speed to 1s and multiply it by 4 the strobe lights up in the selected speed but stays on for the same duration...meaning:
---------------------------
4s off
4s on.

Desired behaviour:

4s off
40ms on
---------------------------

Is there a way to creat a strobe like that?

Thank yall for your answers :)

Hi :)

It's quite easy, you will see :

Step one
- create chaser 1 with :
- strobe on (all at 255) with duration 40ms
- strobe of (all at 0) with duration at 3960ms

Step two
- create chaser 2 with :
- chaser 1 duration 4s
- chaser 1 duration 4s

(Yes you can put chaser in chaser like Inception ^^)
I understand that many weeks after I begin to use Qlc.

Hope that help you :D
