Connect Speed Widget with Fader / Fixture-Channel

Hi everyone,
I managed to create a sound-to-light effect by connecting an audio widget with a speed-widget which controls the timings of some chasers.
But i wasn't able to control the fx-speed-channel of some of my fixtures. I tried to connect the speed-widget with a submaster which controls a scene, which contains only the fx-speed-chanel of a fixture at max level , but I didn't see any effect.
Connecting the audio-widget with the fx-speed-channel of the fixture directly, doesnt make sense to me, because it doesnt control the channel in a sensful way ( it only copys the audio level to the fx level, which will result in high speed for a loud song, and not high speed for high bpm).
Any ideas how to control the speed of some devices with the audio widget?
Best reagrs,
Tim

Hey Tim,
without a workspace file showing the problem (and a detailed description of it) nobody will be able to help you.

Btw, a slider in submaster mode cannot control a scene.

Hi,
with submaster I meant the playback fader of a scene, I'm still not used to the qlc+ conventions.
I attached some show file which should contain a minimal example of my probem.
There is are two fixtures in the example. One rgb-Led-par and a random fixture with some channels like the mini dekker.
I managed to control the speed of a chaser whitch creates a led color fade with the rgb-par, by using the audio-widget and a speed-master-widget.
I would love to control the speed of the color changing effect of the mini-decker as well. At the moment this is possible by increasing the "decker color fade and motor at max"-fader which increases the two channels of the mini-dekker. the default level is set with the "decker on base values"-fader.
What I like to reach is to control the motor speed / color wheel speed with the speed-master-widget.
On every other lightning console I used so far, I would have created an effect on the fixtures color/motor channels and control it with a beat master / speed master. As far I understood effects in qlc+ are only possible on fixture movement, color or dimmer (?), so I cannot use it for a different channel like the motor speed of the "mini dekker"
What I do not want is to copy the audio stream directly to channel data (without beat control) like I made in the example with the "not wanted..."-fader.
I hope that makes it clearer.
Best regards,
Tim
Another question: is there any possibility to get a (virtual) hue channel? Controlling RGB effects with 2d-movents is not really satisfying.

Although I don't really have an idea how to achieve this, let me translate what I understood from your explanation:
You want to control the level of a slider with a speed - the higher the speed, the higher the slider.
Is that correct?
Anyway, this would bring up some questions like: what is the upper and lower bound for the speed (i.e. which speed sets the slider to 255 and which to 0)?

Yes, thats the essence of the question
