Error when launching from linux

He Massimo, congratulations for QLCplus5.
First issue from linux, it d'ont launch de application, error :
qlcplus-qml: symbol lookup error: qlcplus-qml: undefined symbol: _ZNK8Function7getIconEv

Hi, thanks for reporting.
It seems that the QLC+ engine library inside the AppImage bundle is not used and instead, the (QLC+ 4) one installed in your system is used.
Unfortunately there are some binary incompatibilities, so that's the reason of the error you're seeing.
I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the AppImage I am creating. It's a new topic for me, so please be patient.

Hi, can you please try this bundle and see if it opens correctly ?

now it opens on my system, using gnome.

Now it open in my Ubuntu 16.04 Gnome Shell
