Updating QLC+

Apologies if this has been asked before.

To update QLC+, can one simply download the latest update and run it, or does one have to uninstall the old version?

If the latter, what happens to all the fixtures, shows etc?

This heavily depends on the platform you are using, since you did not provide information about it I can't provide further help.

Uninstall & install will be your best friend. (Fixtures and personal files will retain in place during transition)
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
