Automatic lightning with calendar

Hi,

Is There a way to automatically turn on a scene ights at the end of the day and turn it off when the sun rise ?

It would be awesome.

Have windows or *nix start en kill QLC+ by time?
You'd need a timetable based on your location for that...

Or have a look at home-automation programs with full DMX support and calendar functions built in... I did some projects (with waaay more than just DMX) in the past using ip-symcon. A german program.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

Use the Virtual Console Clock widget and start a 8 hours long (or whatever) Function at the time you want,

So there is no way to tell it to start a automatically a function at, for example, 8 P.M. and stop a 6 A.M. ?

I have lights on the outside of a building and it would be awesome if these lights can go on by themselves.
