Raspberry pi EntTec and DMX input not working

I'm running Raspberry pi 3, EntTec DMX USB Pro and Lightronics TL-5024, and when I set up the input, I cant seem to get the board to connect properly. I don't get the joystick icon, I can't program any sliders and the passthrough doesn't work. I did have a bit of success when I would doubleclick the actual device in the setup it will pass control through to the dimmers, but it goes away the second I close the window.

I'm not sure if there is a setup process that I am missing or if this is a feature not implemented.

please advise.

QLC+ version ?

Any version before 4.10.5b could have issue with PRO devices input
