New Fixture Definition Question

I have created a new fixture definition successfully and, while testing with the actual fixture connected, found that the user manual is incorrect. For example, the derby strobe channel is documented as 'slow to fast' but is really 'fast to slow'. The manual also lists a channel property as 'LED Motor', but in actuality it is the 'Laser Motor'.

I am trying to conform to the 'Entering Channel and Capabilities' guidelines and want to make sure I am doing the right thing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Typos happen. If the fixture behaves differently from the manual, I would address it according to the fixture and note in the post any discrepancies.

Also, I would try to test this with multiple fixtures just to be sure you didn't get a lemon by some random chance.
