Raspberry Pi 3... Should I try?

Hello!
I'm really intrigued by the possibility of using QLC + on a Raspberry
... But I need a little advice / encouragement:
— It is okay to buy a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B?
— Can I "happily" use it with a Enttec DMX USB Pro in a simple production environment?
*Thank You - and all the contributors - for this great app!*

I used a Raspberry Pi 3 last summer for all our performances. No problems with it (except for two random GPIO triggers). I did have a 2.5A power supply.

I ran RPI3 with qlc since quite a while, sometimes for >10 hours (with workload, idle time sometimes several days) and didn't find any sign of instabillity.
Just make sure cooling is ok (the little coolers are really helpfull), active cooling is normally not required.
And make sure that your power supply for the Pi is good enought.
There are some very cheap power supplies outside which are speciefied with 5V/2A and can fullfill both requirements but not at the same time.
Meaning if your Pi needs a lot of power due to high workload the Voltage drops a little and sometimes the Pi goes out.
But with a sufficent power supply it should be fine.

Thank you all!
I just ordered a "Raspberry Pi 3 Official Starter Kit"
with a 5V - 2.5A power supply and some little coolers...
I'm really optimistic about it

I use the Raspberry Pi 3 with Touchscreen and Enttec DMX USB Pro with no issues.
